The Annual Roller Racing and "Bake Off" event.

The Longrock Memorial Hall is no longer available, so Mike Tonkin has found us a new venue..... this year's event will take place in the Community Centre in Ludgvan on Thursday, 22nd November. We have the hall from 18:30 and the roller racing will commence at 19:00. We will also be holding the annual baking competition and having a bike jumble.

So bring your bike, bake a cake, pack your unwanted bike bits and make sure you have your pocket money.

The Community Centre is located on the road between Lower Quarter and Gulval. So, turn off the A30 onto the B3309 in Crowlas. Head towards Ludgvan, but do not go up Church hill, instead take the left turn towards Gulval, then take the next left. The Community Centre on the left.

The new Penzance Wheelers kit has landed!

Not only is it a new design (in the great lineage of club colours red, white and blue) but things like cut, materials, structure and detailing are bang up to date too.

The other new departure is that you buy it online. You go to the ‘Club NoPinz’ section of the NoPinz website, go to Penzance Wheelers, and order the clothing you want individually.

You’ll need a password to get in, which you can get by e-mailing the Club Secretary, Andrew McPherson at pzwheelers@gmail.com

To help you with sizing, the club has bought 4 men’s jerseys (sizes S, M, L and XL) and 4 women’s jerseys (sizes XS, S, M and L). These are not for sale. They are purely for trying on, so that you know what size to order when you go online. Andrew will hold the stock of 8 jerseys, they’ll be available at The Star on Tuesdays for trying on, and by arrangement with Andrew.

First though, the kit will be on show this Sunday before the club run. Andrew and I will bring the jerseys down to Jordan’s in the car, so that everyone can get a good look and also try them on. We’ll be there from 8.30am.

Let’s get everyone in the new kit so that we look like a proper unified club on the roads
